About Me
My name is Benjamin White, and I am a skilled carpenter, handyman, and artisan craftsman. I have been working in this field for the past 15 years doing renovation, new construction, and fine woodwork. I have a wide variety of skills, including framing, interior trim, siding, cabinetry, door and window installation, and minor electrical and plumbing, but I am able to recognize my limitations when they arise and consult with a community of other skilled craftsmen to ensure my clients receive top quality work at a fair price.
Providing quality work
to serve the community
My mission at the time of founding this company is primarily to provide my services towards the reconstruction of homes and businesses in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. I will be focusing on taking work related to the storm: flooded buildings need new floors and cabinetry, damaged roofs and siding need to be patched and replaced.
It’s hard to know where to start, but I can help you recover your home and your peace of mind. I believe that having a home in good order is crucial to provide you with feelings of safety, comfort, and dignity. I will offer my services at the fairest cost I am able to at this time.
I will be working either on my own if able or with the help of my talented work partner. We are well-connected with a network of other local craftsmen and we are happy to provide recommendations for other licensed professionals outside our trade (electricians, HVAC, etc.)
Hurricane Helene Changed My Career
Before Hurricane Helene in Autumn 2024, I had a well-established career working in the construction of luxury homes. When the need arose for builders willing to do the less glamorous work of reconstruction after this disaster ravaged Western North Carolina, I knew it was time for me to take a leap.
I started this business to be able to pursue an ethical need to provide a service to the community - leaving behind a comfortable career, but taking with me my connection to an amazing community of talented craftsmen.
I am the son of a carpenter who was the son of a carpenter before him. Craftsmanship runs in my veins, and I am passionate about providing impeccable work at a fair price. At the end of the day, I want a happy customer and work that I can be truly proud of, even if I had to get my hands dirty.
